I've tried a sling and a rucksack one and both times she wanted out within five minutes. The difference here is her head is out the front where she can see, and she just stays. Wish I'd started with this one.

Why PeepuPups?
Small dogs want to come with you and they get tired long before you do. A normal carrier solves that and looks like luggage. This one looks like something you chose.
Your dog gets a soft padded base to sit on, sides that hold their shape so he is not squashed, and a window to watch the world through — which is the bit that actually keeps a small dog calm. You get your hands back, a bag that goes with a normal outfit, and a walk that takes twice as long because everyone wants to say hello.
It works for the trip to the shops, the school run, the vet, the café, the train — anywhere he would rather be carried than left at home.
Benefits & Features
- Round face window so your dog rides with his head out
- 3D felt and teddy costume — bee, bunny or frog
- Padded base and structured sides
- Carry by the handles or across your body
- Fits small dogs up to 5kg
The bag itself
A costume, not a print
The face, ears, wings and flower are all separate pieces of felt and boucle sewn onto the front, so they stand off the bag and catch the light. Photographs of your dog in it look like a photo of a costume, because it is one.
The window is the whole point
A thick raised white rim holds the opening round even when the bag is empty, so your dog can put his head through it himself instead of you posting him into a hole. Head out, body in, ears up.
Built to be carried, not just looked at
Flat canvas handles that sit on the shoulder, a base that stays flat so he is sitting rather than sliding, and a [wipe-clean lining] for the day he brings half a puddle home with him.
PeepyPups Gives You...
- A tired puppy who can still come everywhere with you
- Both hands free on the bus, in a queue, in a shop
- A carrier you are happy to be seen holding
- The single best photo you will take of your dog this year

Your Questions Answered
What size dog fits?
It is made for small dogs — up to 5kg. Maltipoos, bichons, pomeranians, chihuahuas, shih tzus, toy poodles and puppies of larger breeds all sit in it happily. The rule of thumb: if your dog is comfortable curled in a shoebox-sized space with his head up, he fits. Bigger dogs are better off walking.
Is he comfortable in there?
The base is padded and the sides hold their shape, so he is sitting on something soft rather than being squeezed by the bag. Most dogs settle within a minute or two because they can see you and see out. Start with a few minutes at home before a long trip, the same as any new carrier.
Can he breathe properly?
Yes — his head is outside the bag, through the window, the whole time. The canvas sides are unlined and breathable; confirm ventilation panels with the supplier before publishing. Never leave any dog in any carrier in a hot car or in direct sun.
Will he jump out?
Most small dogs settle once they can see where they are going. Keep a hand on the bag when he is excited, exactly as you would with a lead.
Can I take it on a bus or a train?
In the UK, small dogs travel free on buses and trains at the driver's or operator's discretion, and a carried dog is usually the easiest kind to bring. Check your countries own rules before a long journey.
Can I wash it?
Spot clean with a damp cloth and a little mild soap, then let it dry flat — the felt costume and the padded rim do not like a washing machine.
Which costume should I pick?
The bee is the one from the videos and the one people recognise. The bunny is the softer, quieter-looking one. The frog is the one nobody else in your park will have. They are the same bag underneath.
Is it a good gift?
It is the easiest gift on this website for anyone with a small dog. It costs less than a night out, it gets a genuine reaction, and the person opening it will send you a photo of their dog in it within the hour.

Four separate people on one walk. If you're a person who does not want to be spoken to, do not buy this bag. I do want to be spoken to, so it's perfect.

Mine's a tiny yorkie and I thought she'd rattle around in it. The padded base gives her something to sit on so she's up at the right height for the window rather than lost at the bottom.

I can take him to the coffee place now instead of tying him up outside and worrying about it the whole time. He sits in it under the table with his head out. Two people have asked for the link.

There was a loose thread by one of the wings that I trimmed off myself in about five seconds. Everything else is neat and it's clearly not tat. Four stars for the thread, would still recommend it to anyone.

The sides don't collapse in on him when I'm carrying it, which was my main worry from the video — you can't tell from a clip whether a soft bag is actually structured. It is. He sits, he doesn't get squashed.

I was ready to have to coax him. He put his head through it himself on the first go, which the listing did say and I didn't believe. The rim is stiff enough to stay open when the bag's empty, which is why it works.

Bag's good and my dog likes it, so this isn't about the product. It took nearly three weeks and it arrived folded flat with a hard crease across one handle that took a few days to sit right. Nothing broken, but I was starting to wonder if it was coming.
Leah S. 5/5
Her pomeranian is basically her child. She opened it, put the dog in, and had to sit down. Best twenty-five quid I've spent on a present in years.

He came home through a puddle in it and I wiped the inside out with a damp cloth and that was that. I was half expecting to have to hand wash a canvas bag with a felt face on it, so this was a relief.
Charlotte E. 5/5
Two hours on the train and he slept most of it with his chin on the rim. Nobody minded because he doesn't look like a dog in a bag, he looks like a bee. Guard came over to say hello rather than to have a word.

The crossbody strap works but it's on the short side for me and I'm not especially tall. Bag itself is lovely and the padded base is thicker than I expected. Four stars, and if there's ever a longer strap I'd buy it.

I had one of those mesh box carriers before and it looked like I was moving house. This just looks like a tote until the dog puts his head out, and then it's the best thing anyone's seen all week. That's the whole difference.
Callum W. 5/5
Ordered the bunny and I'm now eyeing the frog because I clearly have a problem. The blue is a proper soft blue, not the harsh one you sometimes get, and the ears stand up on their own like they do in the photos.
Priyanka D. 5/5
Normally getting her into the plastic carrier is a twenty-minute fight. She walked into this one herself and sat with her head out the whole way. The vet asked where I got it. I think it's that she can see me.
Sadie R. 5/5
No complaint about the bag, it's well made and the window rim keeps its shape properly. Four stars because I was pushing it with my dog and I should have looked harder before ordering — she fits but she fills it, and I wouldn't want to carry her far in it. If your dog is at the top of the range, size up your expectations.
Ben L. 5/5
This was my worry from the video, that the bee face would turn out to be a print that cracks after two washes. It's separate pieces of felt and that fluffy boucle stuff, all stitched on, and the antennae stand up by themselves. Photos of my dog in it genuinely look like he's in a costume.
Naomi A. 5/5
Bought it for the school run because carrying a dachshund and two book bags is not a thing you can do. Flat handles sit on the shoulder fine and the base stays flat so he's sitting rather than sliding into the corner. Sounds like a small thing until you've had a carrier where the dog ends up in a heap at one end.

I have a four-year-old chihuahua who wants to come everywhere and gives up about halfway down the road. He goes in the bee, head out the window, and we get stopped about every fifty yards. Two people asked where it was from before I'd even got to the shop. He settles in it properly too, he's not scrabbling to get out, and I think that's the window — he can see what's going on so he isn't bothered.
